Hair Loss

People normally lose approximately 100 hairs per day. However, new hair is growing in simultaneously so generally there is not a noticeable loss of hair. Hair follicles which are covered in a connective tissue sheath, are the organs that regulate hair growth. Permanent hair loss occurs when hair follicles are damaged, and scarring occurs. Hair loss can also occur from other causes such as trauma that injure connective tissue of the scalp, and genetics, age, or certain medical conditions that lead to deteriorated connective tissue function.

Why Use BioRenew® PTM Therapy™?

BioRenew PTM Therapy may be used to treat the injured or poorly functioning connective tissue that is causing the hair loss. The connective tissue matrix is the molecular foundation of our tissues, creates the cellular environment and is responsible for proper tissue function.
